Penn State originally founded a campus in Uniontown in 1934, and the Fayette, Eberly campus was established later in 1965. The Eberly campus spans over 100 acres in Uniontown and is one of 19 geographically dispersed campuses of the Pennsylvania State University system. The administrative hub of Penn State is located in University Park, PA, about 120 miles from Uniontown.
