Founded in 2000, the Ice Mine Arena was formerly known as Divito Park. Having undergone a series of renovations and repairs, the rink was re-opened with a new name as the Ice Mine Arena in June of 2010. This indoor arena is open year round and offers both ice skating and roller skating.
Roller skating lessons are available for young and old. The beginner lessons focus on the basics while the more advanced classes teach proper form, techniques and achieving goals. Freestyle roller skating sessions are held frequently and give everyone a chance to lace up their skates and hit the floor while jamming out to some great tunes!
In addition to the sessions, roller hockey games and clinics are also held at the Ice Mine. Pickup games, league play and instructional classes entail. Roller skate rentals are available.
The Ice Mine Arena is a hotbed for ice-related activities as well. Freestyle ice skating sessions are held regularly and ice skate rentals are available. Adult and Youth ice hockey programs and leagues are offered for varying levels of skilled skaters. There are instructional leagues for the beginning skater and matches for experienced players looking to compete with other hockey players of their caliber. Pickup hockey games and ice hockey clinics are also held frequently.
